What can a girl possibly be doing that is more important than attending Coachella and the Grand Prix of Long Beach in the same weekend?! Let’s seriously think about this. What kind of events are so big they can overshadow two of the best things that happen in the entire calendar year? Wedding? Nope. Graduation? Too early. Birthday? Never. Coachella & the GPLB would only be a welcomed addition to any birthday weekend. If your next guess is “Best Friends Baby Shower,” then you hit the nail on the head.

While I personally am not so fond of babies or showers, I love my friends, especially my best friends, like they are my family. My brothers and sisters. So instead of heading home to LA , I’m headed to my city love, Chicago. Trading in spicy pizza for bomb pop cocktails at Rockit and cutoffs for rain boots.

I’ve compiled a list of things I will equally miss at both Coachella and the Grand Prix of Long Beach:
